Over the weekend we won against Cornwall, the Isle of Wight and Sussex O75s but were not so successful against Somerset or the O75s of Lancashire and Kent. Most of the team stayed the weekend in the very good facilities, which include spa and pool, of the Norton Park Hotel and enjoyed the gala dinner and disco (three of us danced, anyway!) on the Saturday night. 75s Eastleigh Division 1. finished 3rd This is the first ever over 75 section at the MCC, unfortunately with some teams dropping out we were combined with an over 70 division to give both sections 3 matches each day. Our team was Sue Awcock, Pamela Barden, Chris Jone, Peter Ballard, Mike Stoneman plus Vicki Betts who stepped in as a last minute replacement, unfortunately she could not score for us but we are very grateful for her help. We played Somerset, Isle of Wight, Sussex and Cornwall all 70 teams, plus Lancashire and Kent as 75 teams and finished 3rd in our section, Our ladies Pairs of Sue and Pamela had a couple wins as did Sue and Chris in the mixed. A very enjoyable weekend played in a good sporting spirit.
