RESTRICTED TOURNAMENT TIMINGS – 21/22 September Juniors News by Jonny - 20th September 201920th September 20190 The arrangements for this weekends tournaments at Portslade Sports Centre, Brighton are as follows: Saturday 21st September U12 and U14 boys singles arrive by 09:00 to start at 09:15. U12 and U14 girls singles arrive by 10:15 to start at 10:30 U12 and U14 Doubles will start approximately 13:00 depending on the conclusion of all singles events Sunday 22nd September U16 and U18 boys singles arrive by 09:00 to start at 09:15. U16 and U18 girls singles arrive by 10:30 to start at 10:45 U16 and U18 Doubles will start no earlier than 13:00 and will be dependant upon the conclusion of all singles events. A GUIDE TO JUNIOR BADMINTON TOURNAMENTS Juniors News Policies & Guides by Jonny - 1st July 201915th July 20190 Players in our squads are encouraged to entering as many Badminton England sanctioned events during the season, as well as other more local tournaments, as possible. These are a valuable opportunity to gain competitive experience. SUSSEX COUNTY JUNIOR BADMINTON TOURNAMENTS SUSSEX CHAMPIONSHIPS SCJB runs the Sussex Championships early in the season. This is the most prestigious junior event in Sussex, with the winners being able to say they are the county champion at their age group. All Sussex players are expected to enter, with trophies presented at the end of the event. This event is open to all children who live or attend school in Sussex. SUSSEX RISING STARS The Rising Stars Tournament, for the mid age groups (U10’s, U12’s, U14’s and U16’s), is held towards the end of
