Front row: L-R Janet Pordage, Gill Fairham and James Tillier. Another long drive and sitting in traffic on the M25, our team finally managed to arrive at the Dome on the busiest shopping Saturday before Christmas! Such thoughtful planning! The opposition were gracious and aware of the difficulties we had getting to them and presented us with some very good refreshments, with special note on the sausage rolls and coffee sponge cake. With our ‘new man’ making his second appearance we were hoping for a better result than the last time we met. The team shook off the cold but otherwise very good playing conditions and put in some good effort.

All the mixed went to plan and I’m proud to report we won the match 9-0, which was some what of a surprise. O65S LOSE 1-8 AGAINST HAMPSHIRE Masters Reports by Jonny - 28th November 201818th August 20190 After a long drive to Winchester, Sussex 65s played their second match against Hampshire. Comparing sides, it was apparent that this was going to be an uphill struggle against a more experienced Hants’ team. Our Men’s third pairing of Martin and Paul looked as if we were going to take a game in a tough three-setter, never really got a look in in the final end and finally lost the game.
