CONGRATULATIONS to our 8 Sussex players competing for England in the World Senior Championships held in Katowice, Poland from 4-11 August. The O65’s celebrated their season with a final get-together at Cote’s restaurant in Lewes. The evening was attended by the complete team of players including the Pordages recently back from their World Cruise and a couple of wives. The dinner concluded with a presentation to the top scoring female and male players and a special remembrance award were given to each of the winning MCC Eastleigh team in recognition of their resounding victory in their division, thus being promoted next season.
