RECOGNISING COMMITMENT TO SUSSEX!

The county are once again recognising commitment to Sussex badminton and were delighted to welcome Karen Chapman to present the awards. Karen badminton CV is one to be admired…

Represented the county 73 times

National doubles champion in 1980

Won gold in doubles at the European individual event in 1984

Won two golds in the 1982 Common wealth games (Team and individual mixed) and also a bronze in the ladies doubles at the same event.

In 1983 she won a bronze in the mixed doubles world championships in Copenhagon

…and 37 full senior caps for England.

Not bad huh?!
