Sussex County Badminton AGM 19/20 – 7.30pm Tuesday 8th December (Zoom)

Notice to all affiliated clubs and players.  We will be holding our AGM in early December. Sadly it can’t be face to face, but we would love it if you could join us for a virtual Zoom meeting. Mark Allen

It is with great sadness that I have to inform everyone of the passing of Mark Allen. Mark was a true champion of all things badminton especially Sussex Badminton, Mark was vice Chairman of the County for a number of years and officiating, Mark was the current Chairman of the  Badminton Umpires of England. Mark’s passion for the game was boundless.  It didn’t matter what level the game was being played at, be it local club or the Yonex All England, Mark’s love for the game always shone through. Personally I will greatly miss his common sense approach to badminton matters and the clarity that he brought to the many discussions that we had. Coronavirus Update (Covid-19)

As an organisation that is operating in the heart of our local community, we continue to closely monitor the ongoing impact of the coronavirus, COVID-19, and follow advice from the government, Public Health England and Badminton England.   We take the health and well-being of our players, supporters, officials and visitors connected with the County very seriously and we are committed to providing a safe environment for everybody that engages with us.   Our communications to relevant parties will be guided by government advice and communications sent to us by Badminton England.
